The Year 2s unlocked their creative juices to write and perform in their Year 2 Show all about the IB Learner Profile. In "Tell Me A Story", each class picked a profile they wanted to highlight, then wrote a story with colourful characters, exciting songs and a gripping storyline. Everyone loved it! Well done Year 2!

Oh what a night! The school rocked and rolled to the beat of drums and music at our annual Festive Fair and Concert on Friday 14 November 2025! The party continued throughout the school with Christmas shopping, food, crafts and fun activities for the whole family. We hope everyone had a fabulous time!

This week, our Year 3s welcomed ex-West Island School student Nick Tsao to talk about maps and how they reflect changes over time. He showed us how Kennedy School has changed over 180 years with side by side photographs of Pokfulam - first mapped by British settlers in 1841, all the way to 2025. Can you tell by looking at the maps that the land Kennedy School now sits on used to be in the ocean? What do you think Kennedy School will look like 180 years from now?

The Year 4 had a marvellous time at their first overnight camp in Sai Kung. The weather was breezy and autumnal - perfect! Over 2 days and 1 night, they clocked many firsts - first time bunking with classmates, kayaking, building catapults, water fights and indoor challenges. Many thanks to the team at Oceanic Sports HK Limited for a fabulous camp! And well done Year 4!

On Friday, we held our Year 6 Swim Gala, where Year 6 students showcased their swimming prowess as they swam in 25 and 50 m events to earn points for their house. This event was what students have been working towards all term in their swimming lessons with our swim coaches from AquaKidz Hong Kong. The atmosphere was electric as students sang and shouted encouragement and parents cheered on from the gallery.
After a morning of intense competition, the Unicorns emerged as winners - for the first time in 10 years! Well done Unicorns! And many thanks to all our teachers, AquaKidz Hong Kong and the Year 10 student leaders from ESF West Island School for making this such a fabulous event!

This week, our Year 3s welcomed ex-West Island School student Nick Tsao to talk about maps and how they reflect changes over time. He showed us how Kennedy School has changed over 180 years with side by side photographs of Pokfulam - first mapped by British settlers in 1841, all the way to 2025. Can you tell by looking at the maps that the land Kennedy School now sits on used to be in the ocean? What do you think Kennedy School will look like 180 years from now?

The Year 4 had a marvellous time at their first overnight camp in Sai Kung. The weather was breezy and autumnal - perfect! Over 2 days and 1 night, they clocked many firsts - first time bunking with classmates, kayaking, building catapults, water fights and indoor challenges. Many thanks to the team at Oceanic Sports HK Limited for a fabulous camp! And well done Year 4!

On Friday, we held our Year 6 Swim Gala, where Year 6 students showcased their swimming prowess as they swam in 25 and 50 m events to earn points for their house. This event was what students have been working towards all term in their swimming lessons with our swim coaches from AquaKidz Hong Kong. The atmosphere was electric as students sang and shouted encouragement and parents cheered on from the gallery.
After a morning of intense competition, the Unicorns emerged as winners - for the first time in 10 years! Well done Unicorns! And many thanks to all our teachers, AquaKidz Hong Kong and the Year 10 student leaders from ESF West Island School for making this such a fabulous event!
